This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee a diverse array of intricate projects involving multiple teams and various therapeutic domains.
• Serve as a principal scientific authority on an assigned account, offering scientific insights to both the internal account team and clients externally.
• Maintain consistent communication regarding product developments, medical and regulatory milestones, the competitive landscape, and the broader healthcare sector.
• Ensure that team outputs align with the strategic goals and objectives of clients.
• Cultivate and uphold robust relationships with clients and pertinent medical experts.
• Consistently produce client-ready outputs across a wide spectrum of projects.
• Capable of converting extensive technical and scientific data into accessible formats for diverse audiences, including knowing how and when to modify language and content.
• Supervise the scientific team's content development to guarantee high-quality standards and scientific excellence are consistently maintained.
• Facilitate client workshops and thought leadership dialogues with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Adopt a forward-thinking mindset, continually seeking to provide clients with innovative ideas and fresh perspectives.
• Establish a trusted collaboration with the Client Services lead to ensure effective project execution, including strategic planning, timeline creation, account management, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the Client Services lead on financial oversight, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Actively engage in new business initiatives, both organically with current clients and in broader new business pursuits.
• Offer regular coaching, mentoring, and feedback to the team to enhance career progression.
• Proactively manage the Scientific Services team and individual performance, including the training and development of junior writers.
• Advanced, doctoral-level degree in a scientific field.
• Proven experience in the medical communications sector.
• Experience in managing complexity.
• Ability to provide coaching and guidance to clients.
• Outstanding presentation abilities.
• Composure under pressure.
• Exceptional scientific writing skills, with extensive experience across various therapeutic areas and target audiences.
