Scientific Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment of CRM, ComLIMS, and LIMS in laboratories or business units that currently do not utilize these systems.

• Oversee CRM and ComLIMS database management across the Division.

• Contribute to and carry out additional tasks and projects assigned by your supervisor related to marketing, sales, production, and business development/performance.

• Aid in customizing and configuring the tools to meet business requirements (e.g., defining concepts, fields, lists, rules, naming conventions, form and report templates, guidelines, language settings, etc.).

• Help strengthen the utilization of the tools throughout the Division.

• Provide user support, including access and rights management.

• Assist the CRM lead in preparing training materials and providing user support.

• Support data quality and integrity initiatives (ensuring data source integrity, account ownership rules, and preventing duplicates, etc.).

• Collaborate with production teams to maintain pricing in the ERP system.

• Ensure that the complete service offering is accurately reflected in the ERP.

• Assist in customizing structured and well-documented sales catalogs that can be extracted from ComLIMS.

• Maintain essential connections between ComLIMS, CRM, LIMS, DMS, and other minor tools.

• Support tool maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Business background - A degree in Biochemistry or a related scientific field with substantial business experience.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

• Possess an agile and organized mindset, with a strong focus on teamwork.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and defend your viewpoints with well-reasoned arguments.
