School Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Assist students in navigating the intricate emotional and social challenges that may impact their learning and overall development.

• Collaborate with students, families, and school teams to devise strategies that promote stability, resilience, and personal growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).

• A Professional License (LMSW) issued by the Michigan Department of Education.

• A letter of certification for School Social Work (SSW) from the MDE.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational setting.

• Must possess or be eligible to acquire all necessary Michigan clearances, including Central Registry Clearance and Criminal Background Check.
