This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and manage the scheduling function across all projects.
• Create, implement, and uphold scheduling standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Review and authorize project schedules, updates, forecasts, and reports for accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure that schedules are in alignment with actual construction sequences, field execution, and project realities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop schedulers to enhance their technical skills, field awareness, and overall performance.
• Provide guidance on risk mitigation, delay analysis, recovery planning, and corrective actions.
• Monitor scheduler workloads and allocate resources to ensure adequate project support throughout the organization.
• Analyze overall schedule performance and offer insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
• Support preconstruction activities with high-level scheduling strategies, manpower planning, and sequencing input.
• Foster continuous improvement in scheduling processes, systems, reporting, and accountability measures.
• Establish checks and balances, including recurring action items and review processes for schedulers.
• Assist with schedule development and troubleshooting as needed, while maintaining focus on leadership and oversight responsibilities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with team members through active leadership, collaboration, and support.
• Review and filter deliverables prior to Issue for Approval (IFA) to ensure quality and consistency.
• Occasional job site visits may be necessary.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
• 10+ years of experience in construction scheduling with a strong command of Primavera P6.
• Prior leadership, management, or supervisory experience is essential.
• A strong background in field operations, supervision, or project management is required.
• Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling principles, construction sequencing, and project execution is necessary.
• Proven capability to review, critique, and enhance complex construction schedules.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing scheduling personnel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on support as required.
