Scaled Agile Product Owner/Scrum Master Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Guide teams and leaders in embracing SAFe and scaled-agile delivery methodologies.

• Integrate new teams into Scaled Agile working practices.

• Collaborate with the Transformation Lead and consultants to create runbooks, standard operating procedures, and delivery playbooks.

• Enhance team agility maturity and incorporate agile best practices throughout delivery teams.

• Recognize skill gaps and assist in upskilling Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams.

• Facilitate essential SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning.

• Act as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or RTE during temporary vacancies.

• Engage directly with teams to exemplify behaviors and expedite agile adoption.

• Provide support for the foundational learning, tools, and processes necessary for the transformation.

• Up to 25% travel required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field with over 10 years of relevant work experience; OR an Advanced degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field with over 7 years of relevant work experience.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory (due to Government contractual obligations).

• Proficiency in PI Planning, Agile Transformation, Jira Confluence & Metrics.

• Certified in Scaled SAFe Agile and actively practicing as an RTE, Solution Train Manager, PO, or Scrum Master.

• Experience with large-scale transformations, understanding risks, and capability to upskill teams to drive Agile process maturity.

• Extensive experience in coaching teams within SAFe or comparable scaled frameworks.

• Ability to assume delivery roles when necessary and lead by example.

• Strong facilitation skills with a passion for team development and agile maturity.

• Proficient in developing standards, process guides, and reusable operating models.

• Excellent communication skills.
