SBA Loan Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee an active portfolio of SBA 7(a) and Express loans, including intricate structures and multi-facility transactions.

• Interpret and implement SBA SOP guidelines during the closing process to guarantee compliance.

• Review and confirm credit approvals, authorization documents, and closing conditions for SBA eligibility.

• Collaborate with clients and their advisors to gather and assess both SBA-required and lender-required documentation.

• Clearly communicate closing conditions and funding timelines to customers and stakeholders.

• Perform comprehensive document reviews to ensure SBA compliance and address issues with minimal supervision.

• Work in partnership with internal teams, legal counsel, and third-party providers to fulfill SBA closing requirements.

• Ensure loans are adequately collateralized, documented, and disbursed in accordance with SBA and Bank standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of direct experience in SBA loan closing or SBA documentation.

• In-depth knowledge of SBA SOP, eligibility criteria, and closing procedures.

• Proven capability to analyze and interpret complex documents, policies, and regulations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple transactions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Demonstrated skills in teamwork, collaboration, and customer service.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (additional advantage).
