This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provides comprehensive administrative assistance to designated BLSs to enhance their ability to identify more opportunities.

• Designs and executes effective processes in collaboration with each assigned BLS to streamline pipeline management, application submissions, and closings.

• Gains a thorough understanding of Spark and other internal systems.

• Executes all data entry tasks for loan opportunities across all systems.

• Collaborates with BLSs, Credit Underwriters, and Loan Closers to gather all necessary documents and information throughout the loan process.

• Maintains clear communication with all internal partners, borrowers, and referral sources.

• Reads and comprehends the SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Develops a comprehensive understanding of Dogwood SBL's internal processes and procedures.

• Cultivates a complete understanding of Dogwood SBL's Credit Guidelines.

• Fosters and maintains effective working relationships with all internal partners.

• Implements efficient time management practices.

• Responsible for adhering to regulatory requirements, including those related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC, to aid in the identification, detection, and prevention of money laundering or other illegal activities.

• Submits necessary reports in a timely manner.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in banking or a comparable field.

• Extensive knowledge of the SBA’s SOP and related regulations.

• Proficiency in using SBA systems is essential to operate under the bank’s PLP SBA status.

• Ability to think strategically regarding staff, competitive positioning in the market, and planning actions accordingly.

• Understanding of business development planning and management at the office level.

• In-depth knowledge of lending policies and procedures.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Proficient in computer software necessary for fulfilling the primary responsibilities of the role.

• Familiarity with online computer systems.

• Proficient in statement spreading software.
