This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take charge of the solution architecture for the Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud implementation.
• Convert business and regulatory needs into identity governance designs that address identity lifecycle, access requests, certification, segregation of duties, and privileged access workflows.
• Direct the technical design and setup of Saviynt components, including connectors, integrations, roles, entitlements, analytics, rules, workflows, and reporting.
• Collect requirements and lead governance policy and design discussions with business stakeholders, application owners, security teams, and audit and compliance functions.
• Interact directly with stakeholders who speak Japanese.
• Offer technical leadership to the delivery team.
• Evaluate configuration and code, establishing integration patterns and standards.
• Assist with testing, cutover, and troubleshooting across the identity stack.
• Create architecture documentation, runbooks, and materials for knowledge transfer.
• Define the target operating model for identity governance in collaboration with the client’s security organization.
• Set up role ownership, certification cadence, exception handling, and delineate responsibilities between central security and application teams.
• Facilitate audit readiness by ensuring governance evidence, certification records, and policy enforcement can be demonstrated to auditors.
• Significant hands-on experience in architecting and implementing Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration solutions.
• Familiarity with Saviynt connector development, workflow and rule configuration, as well as role and entitlement design.
• Professional working proficiency in Japanese for technical and business conversations with native-speaking stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management, which includes lifecycle management, RBAC, access certification, segregation of duties, and privileged access.
• Practical integration experience with enterprise directories, HR systems, cloud platforms, and business applications.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, SCIM, LDAP, and SAML or OIDC.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States throughout the engagement.
• Saviynt certification is preferred.
• Experience in migrating from SailPoint, Oracle Identity Manager, or similar identity provisioning platforms is preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries with SOX, GDPR, or similar compliance obligations is highly valued.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
• Scripting or development skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript are advantageous.
• Prior client-facing consulting experience is advantageous.
• Experience delivering IGA programs across multiple geographies and regulatory frameworks is highly valued.
• Familiarity with Japanese data protection and internal control expectations is advantageous.
• Previous lead or principal architect experience is advantageous.
• Experience mentoring less experienced identity engineers is advantageous.
• Fully remote work with true location flexibility.
