This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee the formulation of solution architecture for a transformation program based on S/4HANA, focusing on vital aspects of business processes, data & analytics, applications, and technologies.
• Actively engage in business development and pre-sales initiatives, including creating proposals and responding to “Requests for Proposal” (RFPs) and “Requests for Information” (RFIs).
• Lead the establishment of Solution Architecture for complex IT/business transformation projects primarily within the Life Sciences sector, predominantly utilizing SAP.
• Ensure that the technical solutions, platforms, and systems meet both business requirements and future needs.
• Create and execute an enterprise roadmap for SAP S/4HANA along with a range of new solutions, including guidance on the ERP non-functional roadmap and related enterprise-wide integration necessities.
• Provide digital capabilities to enhance and transform the business and facilitate new business models.
• Offer leadership, direction, and technical solutions for key focus areas such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Leonardo, SAP Cloud Platform, digital platforms, Cloud Integration, API Management, AI, Advanced Analytics, and IOT.
• Ensure a structured and clearly defined solution architecture framework, delivering on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with solution governance and enterprise architecture principles and standards.
• Lead and take part in essential governance forums, including Architecture Review Boards, Program Boards, Change Control Boards, and Integration Management meetings.
• Proactively manage, track, and report on the identification, impact, dependencies, risks, mitigations, and implementation status of solution architecture topics and areas for enhancement; and take ownership of resolving solution architecture issues.
• Coordinate with third-party providers and vendors as necessary.
• Oversee internal consulting resources, third-party provider resources, and contract resources.
• Exceptional client interaction abilities: capable of establishing trusted relationships to collaboratively design and implement solutions for transformation programs with clients. Proficient in navigating complex organizational structures and managing ambiguity.
• Ability to motivate, persuade, and influence stakeholders to secure buy-in from senior business management.
• Outstanding problem management skills including problem identification, structuring, resolution, and facilitation.
• Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and facilitation.
• Proven track record of delivering under tight deadlines and challenging constraints.
• Capacity to collaborate within the Firm and utilize existing resources effectively.
• Superior team leadership skills demonstrated through project leadership roles, with experience in forming high-performing teams and a commitment to developing team members.
• Extensive experience in a consulting environment, particularly within large-scale SAP transformation programs.
• Significant work experience in the Life Sciences sector, with comprehensive knowledge of its challenges, business dynamics, and validation implications for SAP program delivery.
• Proven capability to deliver large-scale SAP-based transformation programs both within and outside of the Life Sciences sector.
• Practical application of project management lifecycle principles and methodologies (SAP Activate, including key concepts such as Model Company, SAP Value Lifecycle Management, etc.).
• Familiarity with solution and enterprise architecture frameworks and models, such as TOGAF.
• Extensive experience in SAP solution architecture and enterprise architecture, with insight into typical solution challenges in large-scale transformation programs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in executing an Agile-based design and delivery methodology.
• Ideally experienced in process analysis and business process design strategies.
• Comprehensive understanding of major business processes along the value chain in the Life Sciences industry.
• Solid understanding of key data objects and SAP enterprise structures.
• Strong knowledge of various SAP applications including S/4HANA, such as BW4HANA, Ariba, IBP, MDG, etc.
• Solid understanding of utilizing technologies like Cloud, APIs, AI, and IOT within SAP Life Sciences solutions.
• Experience in delivering SAP solutions using a value-driven transformation methodology.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe and capacity to work within a European context is essential.
