SAP SD Specialist – S/4HANA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical and functional authority for SAP SD within the S/4HANA environment, serving as the ultimate internal escalation point for intricate requests and incidents.

• Investigate incidents and recurring issues to identify root causes.

• Assess configurations, Fiori applications, and extensibility options before suggesting development.

• Define solutions to assist the ABAP team with extensions, integrations, APIs, reports, and custom objects.

• Map current customizations and recommend simplifications, replacements with standard functionalities, or retirements.

• Collaborate across Order-to-Cash processes, encompassing sales, pricing, billing, shipping, delivery, outbound logistics, returns, credit, ATP, intercompany and cross-company procedures, Brazilian localization, and integrations.

• Engage in rollouts, enhancements, and SAP transformation projects.

• Evaluate the effects of Support Packages, releases, and the evolution of S/4HANA, including regression strategies.

• Convert business requirements into sustainable SAP solutions and justify technical decisions with consulting firms and vendors.

• Lead mentoring sessions, technical workshops, and documentation of functional architecture.

• Establish best practices for designing, developing, documenting, and troubleshooting SAP solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an SAP SD Specialist, with practical experience in S/4HANA.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes, including condition techniques, pricing, copy control, billing, delivery and shipping, returns, credits, and availability checks.

• Integration experience of SD with FI/CO and MM, along with familiarity with external system integrations.

• Application of Brazilian localization to SD, particularly in tax determination and electronic invoicing.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and the Fiori Launchpad.

• ABAP knowledge sufficient for code reading, debugging, and impact analysis.

• Familiarity with BAdIs, the Enhancement Framework, CDS Views, OData, and APIs.

• Understanding of Clean Core and Clean Code principles.

• Experience in major SAP implementation, rollout, or transformation projects.

• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with user lifecycle management, RBAC, SoD matrices, recertification, IGA, PAM, IdP/IAM, MDM, JumpCloud, and automation/scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or APIs for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
