SAP SD, Order-to-Cash Consultant – S/4HANA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the lead expert in SAP SD and Order-to-Cash within the SAP team.

• Support, improve, and optimize the entire OTC processes in SAP S/4HANA.

• Evaluate current business processes and convert requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

• Offer expert advice on intricate SAP SD and OTC scenarios.

• Execute hands-on SAP SD configuration and customization.

• Oversee SAP OTC initiatives from requirement collection and solution design to implementation, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.

• Detect process gaps, inefficiencies, and chances for standardization or automation.

• Work closely with SAP MM, LE, and FI specialists to ensure smooth cross-module integration.

• Assist in designing and implementing interfaces between SAP and other systems.

• Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documentation, and interface designs.

• Manage testing activities, defect resolution, and business acceptance.

• Independently oversee assigned workstreams and drive projects to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of eight years of practical SAP SD consulting and configuration experience.

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.

• Extensive, hands-on experience with SAP SD customization.

• Deep understanding of the integration between SAP SD and the MM, LE, and FI modules.

• Proven experience leading SAP initiatives throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.

• Strong skills in requirements gathering, process design, and functional specification.

• Capacity to analyze complex business requirements and create practical, scalable solutions.

• Experience working independently in remote and international project contexts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership in work style.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Highly desirable: substantial hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Previous experience in the retail, fashion, or e-commerce sectors.

• Basic knowledge of ABAP.

• Ability to debug ABAP programs and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Experience in high-volume sales, fulfillment, and customer-order environments.
