SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant – Travel Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect and assess business requirements related to travel management processes.

• Set up SAP S/4HANA Travel Management, which includes travel requests, expense reporting, reimbursements, per diem, mileage, and travel advances.

• Facilitate integration with SAP FI, CO, Funds Management (FM), HCM, Payroll, and Workflow.

• Create functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).

• Assist with system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and production deployment.

• Work collaboratively with functional, technical, and business teams to implement standard SAP solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Located on the East Coast.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP functional consulting.

• More than 5 years of experience in SAP Travel Management configuration and implementation.

• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA with multiple full lifecycle implementations.

• Solid understanding of SAP FI and Funds Management integration.

• Background in supporting U.S. Federal Government clients.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust or security clearance.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and government financial management.

• Preferred: Certification in SAP S/4HANA or SAP Travel Management.

• Preferred: Familiarity with SAP Fiori, Workflow, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Activate.

• Preferred: Understanding of NIST 800-53 security requirements and Authority to Operate (ATO) environments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Experience in leading functional workshops and converting business requirements into SAP solutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously in a client-facing consulting role.
