SAP Retail MDM Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Translates customer information from business areas into comprehensive enterprise application designs, including structures for SAP S/4HANA retail Article master data and the relevant configuration specifications.

• Develops Article master setup processes and workflows using MDM tools, ensuring consistency with client business rules, data governance standards, and SAP best practices.

• Collaborates with functional consultants and client team members to analyze alternative options for enterprise application design, formulates recommendations, and communicates findings effectively.

• Creates programming specifications, system diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts to facilitate modifications and new installations of enterprise applications in SAP S/4HANA retail environments.

• Assists in testing, validation, and data quality initiatives related to Article master data migration and ongoing MDM operations, raising any issues and risks to senior team members when necessary.

• Engages in client-facing workshops and requirements-gathering sessions, documenting outcomes and converting them into actionable technical deliverables.

• Complies with all certified processes as part of our dedication to upholding the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes active participation in quality assurance activities and protecting sensitive information in line with our security policies.

• Undertakes additional related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a comparable field, along with 1-3 years of experience in SAP functional consulting or enterprise application delivery; or no degree but with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA retail Article master data structures and associated configurations.

• Background in designing Article master setup processes and workflows within an MDM tool (for example, SAP MDG, Stibo STEP, Informatica MDM, or similar).

• Capability to convert business requirements into enterprise application design documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and logic flowcharts.
