This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Take ownership of the SAP platform roadmap encompassing all modules and workstreams, aligning priorities with the FICO Architect, SD Architect, and business stakeholders (Finance, Tax, Revenue Recognition, Controlling, Operations).
• Oversee the comprehensive change request (CR) pipeline: including intake, triage, mapping of cross-module dependencies, prioritization, and tracking of delivery on the Jira SAP project board.
• Act as the central point of contact for SAP within the business — converting executive and functional requirements into platform decisions and structured delivery plans.
• Coordinate release planning and go-live activities across workstreams, ensuring UAT sign-off, cutover readiness, and alignment among stakeholders.
• Identify and promote quick-win automation opportunities (in collaboration with the Integration Architect and n8n platform) that enhance the core SAP build without necessitating full CR cycles.
• Manage the SAP BTP layer: including iFlow configuration and maintenance, certificate rotations, OAuth/mTLS administration, and incident response for all SAP-originated or SAP-targeted integration flows.
• Supervise the SAP-side configuration of connections to Salesforce, Workday, OneStream, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 — collaborating with the Integration Architect on middleware design, API contracts, and governance of cross-system data flow.
• Ensure e-invoicing compliance across various countries (including Poland KSeF, Romanian e-Factura, Belgian Peppol, and others), working with local finance teams and external vendors.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on SAP integration incidents and lead resolution efforts, engaging the FICO or SD Architect for module-specific diagnosis and the Integration Architect for middleware-related issues as necessary.
• Manage the SAP platform: including user roles, authorizations, transport management, and system configuration — escalating module-specific functional configurations to the relevant Architect.
• Serve as the primary commercial and delivery interface with external SAP vendors (currently Globant): reviewing SOWs, planning sprints, defining acceptance criteria, and managing escalations.
• Ensure that every open CR has a designated owner, module assignment (FICO/SD/cross-module), priority, and ETA; generate monthly SAP status reports for the IT Committee and Global IT Director.
• Coordinate dependencies and sequencing across workstreams — identifying transport conflicts, shared configuration objects, or delivery risks impacting FICO, SD, or integration workstreams.
• Contribute to visibility of IT costs associated with SAP-related expenditures: including licenses, BTP consumption, and consulting engagements.
• Assist with compliance requirements related to audits, GDPR, and ISO 27001 concerning the SAP platform.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, SAP BTP Integration Suite) is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in SAP program management, platform ownership, or technical administration — with exposure to multiple SAP modules rather than deep specialization in a single module.
• Proven ability to coordinate a multi-workstream SAP delivery program involving functional architects and business stakeholders.
• A successful track record in managing SAP BTP integrations, including iFlow configuration, certificate lifecycle, and incident response.
• Experience in working with and overseeing external SAP development vendors: including SOW reviews, facilitating sprints, acceptance testing, and escalation management.
• Familiarity with adjacent enterprise systems (Salesforce, Workday, Dynamics 365, OneStream) at an integration-awareness level — possessing an understanding of data flows and dependencies without needing to manage those systems.
• A background in multi-country SAP e-invoicing compliance is strongly preferred.
• Experience in dynamic, multi-entity international environments is an advantage.
• SAP S/4HANA platform administration expertise: including transport management, authorization management, and release coordination — encompassing broad platform ownership rather than in-depth module configuration (FICO/SD managed by peer Architects).
• Proficiency in SAP Integration Suite / BTP: including iFlow configuration, certificate and mTLS administration, monitoring, and incident diagnosis.
• Integration awareness: possessing working knowledge of SAP-side configuration for connections to Salesforce, Workday, Dynamics 365, and OneStream; able to coordinate handoff points with the Integration Architect without managing the middleware layer.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud / BigQuery: capable of validating SAP data replicated to the data warehouse and supporting reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence: adept in CR tracking, cross-workstream program documentation, and stakeholder reporting.
• Languages: Fluent English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
