SAP PM/MM Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deliver functional consulting and support for SAP PM/MM processes encompassing incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements.

• Configure and sustain SAP PM functionalities such as equipment, task lists, maintenance plans, notifications, work orders, confirmations, and relevant settlement processes.

• Set up and assist SAP MM functionalities including material master impacts, purchasing, PR/PO processes, goods receipt, basic invoice verification, and MRP touchpoints.

• Facilitate comprehensive maintenance execution that includes planning, reservations, procurement, issue/return, and cost capture related to orders, WBS, and cost centres.

• Assist with plant maintenance and stores integration, addressing catalogues, spare-parts strategies, re-ordering, valuation, and inventory management processes.

• Develop functional specifications for reports, forms, interfaces, and workflows, coordinating delivery with ABAP and technical teams.

• Conduct and support unit, SIT, and UAT testing, defect triage, cutover preparation, release deployment, test scripts, and training materials.

• Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, offer data correction guidance, and assist users; coordinate with Basis/security teams.

• Maintain configuration workbooks, SOPs/runbooks, process maps, and functional documentation.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for users and support teams.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by simplifying processes, enhancing mobility/Fiori adoption, automating tasks, improving services, and planning releases.

• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement stakeholders within energy and utilities client environments, utilizing an ITIL-managed services framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP PM and SAP MM on SAP ECC.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP PM, including equipment, functional locations, BOMs, measuring points/counters, notifications, corrective and preventive orders, permits/isolation touchpoints, task lists, maintenance plans/strategies, scheduling, confirmations/time, cost settlement, technical completion, and PM reporting.

• Strong understanding of SAP MM, covering PR, PO, goods receipt, exposure to invoice verification, inventory management, goods movements, reservations, stock types, physical inventory fundamentals, material master basics, and organizational structures.

• Familiarity with PM–MM, PM–FI/CO, and basic WM/EWM integration.

• Skills in testing and delivery, including development/testing, defect management, and change/release processes.

• Capability to create functional specifications, configuration workbooks, user guides, and training materials.

• Experience in providing production support in a 24x7 critical environment is preferred.

• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow/Jira is advantageous.

• Familiarity with standard PM/MM reports and embedded analytics is desirable.

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PM/MM is a plus.

• Prior experience in the utilities sector is beneficial.
