SAP MDG Business Partner Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate sessions for gathering requirements and conducting business process workshops focused on Business Partner master data governance.

• Document business rules, capture functional requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to design Business Partner master data models.

• Set up SAP MDG Business Partner data models, UI FPM models, and process models.

• Establish change request workflows, validation rules, and derivation rules utilizing SAP BRF+.

• Assist in the governance of the customer and vendor Business Partner master-data lifecycle.

• Configure DRF and aid in the synchronization of Business Partner data using SOA Services, Web Services, and IDocs.

• Work alongside Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and technical teams within integrated SAP environments.

• Create functional designs, configuration documents, and business process documentation.

• Conduct unit and integration testing while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Resolve production issues and assist with system enhancements.

• Engage in process mapping and change management initiatives.

• Travel infrequently to client locations for on-site assistance.

• Involve in quality assurance activities and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with security policies.

• Undertake other related responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of pertinent SAP Business Partner or SAP Master Data Governance experience, or 5–7 years of experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• Proficiency in configuring SAP MDG Business Partner, encompassing data modeling, workflow configuration, UI FPM modeling, BRF+, and DRF.

• Strong grasp of SAP Business Partner master data, including Customer and Vendor master data within SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience in gathering business requirements, leading workshops, crafting functional design documentation, and supporting solution implementation.

• Background in supporting multi-system SAP landscapes and enterprise master data governance projects.

• Capability to exercise judgment within established practices and manage moderately complex SAP MDG Business Partner challenges with minimal supervision.

• Must be eligible to obtain and retain an active Secret security clearance, which necessitates U.S. citizenship.

• Preferred: active Secret security clearance.

• Preferred: experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, federal ERP modernization programs, or DoD SAP environments.

• Preferred: familiarity with SAP MM, FI, Procurement, or Supply Chain integrations.
