SAP Integrations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as an internal consulting expert for system integration inquiries in projects across Latin America, assisting the IT CoE Head, SAP Tech Leader, IT Solutions Architect, IT Business Partners, Senior SAP Consultants, and Project Managers.

• Act as the custodian of current integrations, ensuring that technical specifications and documentation comply with global IT governance and industry standards.

• Promote integration reuse as the standard practice, prioritizing reuse over the creation of new integrations whenever feasible.

• Collaborate with the IT Solutions Architect and the SAP Tech Leader to outline strategies for new integrations and suggest suitable technologies and methodologies.

• Provide guidance and evaluate the work of both internal and external development teams regarding integration standards and tools.

• May oversee groups or teams of developers and/or technical architects, ensuring the implementation of best practices throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• SAP certifications, such as SAP PI/PO, are essential for professional validation.

• Practical experience with SAP and non-SAP integration technologies, including RFC, BAPI, ALE/IDoc, ABAP Proxy, Web Services, RESTful APIs, and OData.

• Strong familiarity with IBM API Connect, SAP PI / SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, SAP Event Mesh, and SAP BTP.

• Proficiency in testing, documenting, and managing integration capabilities using tools such as Swagger, Postman, or equivalent market tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP ECC modules and their integration functionalities.

• In-depth understanding of security protocols and best practices for secure connectivity.

• Fluent in spoken, written, and reading English and Spanish.

• Intermediate proficiency in Portuguese for technical and business terminology is advantageous.

• Experience in leading a team of developers and/or technical architects is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with business and IT stakeholders globally.

• Strong sense of responsibility and a proactive approach to addressing integration challenges.

• Ability to independently identify solutions and recognize when to seek assistance on complex matters.

• Comfortable working with minimal supervision on routine issues and with detailed instructions for new tasks.
