SAP Integration Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the comprehensive SAP integration architecture, standards, governance, and roadmap for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

• Create and implement reusable integration patterns, templates, naming conventions, security standards, error handling protocols, monitoring, and transport strategies.

• Assess and utilize SAP Business Accelerator Hub content prior to authorizing custom integration development.

• Advocate for clean-core and API-first principles by utilizing SAP-approved OData and SOAP APIs.

• Evaluate, challenge, and sanction SI integration designs, iFlows, and technical decisions to ensure adherence to quality and standards.

• Configure and oversee SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP Cloud Connector, BTP subaccounts, Destination Service, and Credential Store.

• Design and sustain complex integrations, reusable iFlows, and Groovy-based transformation logic.

• Integrate SAP with various enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, Procore, Vertex, and internal applications.

• Manage authentication and security aspects including OAuth2, API keys, certificates, and connectivity across integrated systems.

• Lead integration testing, transition, hypercare, issue resolution, monitoring, and ensure readiness for production support.

• Keep integration documentation, inventories, design artifacts, operational procedures, and support models up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in SAP integration, including at least one implementation of SAP S/4HANA or ECC (greenfield preferred).

• More than 3 years of practical experience in SAP Integration Suite (CPI) development with a focus on building production iFlows.

• Profound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud integration principles and API-only architecture.

• Strong background with SAP Business Accelerator Hub and the ability to leverage standard content before pursuing custom development.

• Hands-on experience with OData V2/V4, REST, SOAP, and IDoc integrations.

• Advanced proficiency in Groovy scripting for CPI transformations and routing logic.

• Experience in configuring SAP Cloud Connector, BTP subaccounts, Destination Service, and Credential Store.

• Solid understanding of OAuth2, API security, certificates, and best practices in enterprise integration.

• Proven track record in establishing integration standards, governance processes, and operational support frameworks.

• Experience in reviewing vendor/System Integrator designs, enforcing quality checkpoints, and challenging technical decisions as necessary.

• Preferred: Experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (GROW with SAP).

• Familiarity with SAP API Management, Event Mesh, or Advanced Event Mesh.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for CPI deployments.

• Practical integration experience with Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, Procore, and/or Vertex.

• Experience in supporting Boomi migration or coexistence strategies.

• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology and BTP side-by-side extension development.

• Background in manufacturing, construction, or project-based sectors.
