SAP Integration Engineer – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Directs the architecture, design, and development strategies for SAP Cloud Integration solutions.

• Offers technical direction and supervision for intricate integrations and enterprise patterns.

• Develops and modifies message mappings or data transformations utilizing SAP Cloud Integration.

• Manages integration design through RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT, and associated technologies.

• Guarantees that integration solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, security, and performance benchmarks.

• Establishes and oversees integrations between SAP Cloud Integration and SAP BTP services, including SAP API Management and Event Mesh.

• Evaluates designs and code for quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Leads investigations and resolutions for complex integration challenges.

• Ensures the monitoring, operational stability, availability, and security of integrations.

• Implements SDLC methodologies and advocates for engineering best practices.

• Works collaboratively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to convert requirements into scalable solutions.

• Serves as a consultant for employee owners and clients regarding integration strategies and onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; Advanced Degree is a plus, or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of pertinent work experience.

• More than 3 years of experience with SAP Cloud Integration.

• Proven experience in technical leadership or mentoring.

• Advanced skills in SOAP and/or RESTful API development and design.

• Extensive knowledge of XML, XSD, XPath, and XSLT.

• Proficient in designing and developing within tiered applications and architectures.

• Experience with unit and integration testing.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
