SAP HCM Test Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Plan, prepare, and carry out functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing for SAP HCM solutions.

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts based on both business and functional requirements.

• Validate comprehensive SAP HCM processes, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, Payroll, and ESS/MSS.

• Conduct integration testing with connected SAP modules and third-party HR systems.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor defects until resolution, collaborating closely with functional consultants and technical teams.

• Assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and offer testing guidance.

• Engage in requirements reviews to guarantee testability and ensure complete test coverage.

• Generate test documentation, test evidence, and status reports.

• Contribute to test planning, risk assessments, and activities related to release readiness.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, validation requirements, and project methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP testing, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to SAP HCM.

• Practical experience testing SAP HCM modules such as: Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, Payroll, Employee Self-Service (ESS), and Manager Self-Service (MSS).

• Solid understanding of end-to-end HR business processes and their integration with Payroll and Time Management.

• Experience in system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

• Capability to create detailed test strategies, test cases, and defect reports.

• Familiarity with defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager, or similar.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.

• Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
