SAP EWM Consultant – German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions to ensure alignment with business needs and SAP best practices.

• Organize and facilitate workshops for fit-to-standard, blueprint sessions, and business process design with essential stakeholders.

• Assess warehouse and supply chain processes, transforming business requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions.

• Design and set up core SAP EWM processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, internal warehouse movements, inventory management, physical inventory, and production supply.

• Establish and manage integration requirements among SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP TM, MES systems, automation solutions, and third-party applications.

• Draft functional specifications and work closely with development teams on enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and custom developments.

• Assist in system testing activities such as unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.

• Offer expertise in SAP Fiori applications to promote efficient and user-friendly warehouse operations.

• Coordinate cutover planning, deployment activities, and hypercare support during project go-live phases.

• Collaborate effectively with business users, key users, architects, developers, project managers, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and detailed documentation to ensure long-term solution sustainability.

• Mentor junior consultants and offer functional guidance to project team members as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possesses solid experience in SAP Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

• Holds extensive knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).

• Has experience with SAP TM (Transportation Management).

• Experienced in SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Proficient in utilizing SAP Fiori applications.

• Has led and coordinated design workshops.

• Familiar with fit-to-standard implementations and standardized SAP solutions.

• Experienced in production integration and supply chain flows within the manufacturing sector.

• Has worked with warehouse and distribution processes.

• Experienced with SAP integrations, APIs, middleware, and EWM-to-ERP processes.

• Capable of navigating complex system landscapes and making informed decisions regarding standardization versus customization.

• Comfortable collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders.

• Nice to have: Experience in large-scale ERP transformation projects.

• Experience onboarding production units or distribution centers.

• Knowledge of change management and knowledge transfer to customer organizations.
