This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP within Operations.
• Oversee ERP maintenance and continuous enhancement activities across Planning, Quality, MRO, Procurement, and Supply Chain within SAP S/4HANA.
• Guide business process owners across various functional areas, geographic locations, and business units.
• Align functions with the overall business strategy and manage comprehensive operations and supply chain processes.
• Supervise projects and work with cross-functional teams to create and provide innovative solutions.
• Ensure the stability and performance of production systems.
• Spearhead digital transformation initiatives across ERP, MES, PLM, and related digital manufacturing platforms.
• Collaborate with Operations leaders to pinpoint process deficiencies, system inefficiencies, and opportunities for SAP adoption.
• Enhance ERP/MRP processes, planning efficiency, production execution, material availability, and operational productivity.
• Assess and refine SAP planning and execution parameters, including MRP behavior, work centers, routings, planning strategies, and scheduling.
• Promote standardization and best practices across various sites.
• Offer expert advice on SAP process design, transaction discipline, and end-user engagement.
• Define and advance the Operations roadmap for ERP, MES, PLM, and digital manufacturing systems.
• Work with stakeholders, corporate IT, and managed service support to design, configure, and test SAP modules.
• Document business requirements and establish Standard Work for SAP usage.
• Support a multi-plant SAP system, including upgrades, enhancements, and module deployments.
• Develop functional specifications and process-flow documentation.
• Prioritize issue resolution and enhancements while assisting in troubleshooting complex issues.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external customers by aligning solutions with business needs.
• Stay updated on SAP technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 10 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of related experience in place of a degree.
• At least 9 years of experience in SAP planning to production.
• Minimum of 9 years working with the SAP Production plan to produce workstream.
• Understanding of integration points across various SAP modules.
• Proven experience with successful system implementations and ongoing support.
• Experience in analyzing intricate business requirements and translating them into effective ERP solutions.
• Willingness to travel 25%-50% as necessary.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance (Secret).
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA/ECC functionalities and configurations.
• Strong technical expertise in business operations, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with ERP applications, including MRO.
• Exposure to waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Background in developing technical solutions for complex challenges and overseeing implementation.
