SAP Data Migration Lead – SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive data migration initiatives for a sophisticated SAP Employee Central Payroll modernization project.

• Propel data quality, migration strategies, and cutover execution across various workstreams.

• Direct data quality assessments, data profiling, and cleansing analyses on legacy source systems.

• Create data migration solutions and comprehensive migration strategies, encompassing source-to-target mapping, ETL methodologies, and tools.

• Establish and document data conversion protocols, mapping logic, and business rules concerning employee master data, payroll infotypes, time/absence data, and organizational structures.

• Compose technical specification documents for extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.

• Facilitate mock conversion cycles and reconciliation tasks.

• Define data validation and exception reporting as well as error-resolution processes.

• Develop and implement cutover plans that include sequencing, downtime windows, fallback/rollback procedures, and criteria for go-live readiness.

• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, technical developers, and client data owners.

• Oversee the data migration team, delegate tasks, review outputs, and mentor junior analysts.

• Communicate migration status, risks, and issues to program leadership and client stakeholders.

• Maintain documentation for data migration governance, including data dictionaries, mapping trackers, and defect logs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years in SAP-related roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in SAP data conversion within SAP ECC, IBP, and/or SRM environments.

• Practical experience with data migration tools and methodologies, such as LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit/LTMC, BODS, or similar ETL tools.

• Proven experience in data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation tasks within an SAP conversion project.

• Strong Excel and data analysis competencies for extensive data mapping and validation.

• Must be eligible for government clearance.

• US citizenship is required (no dual citizenship allowed).

• Must have work authorization in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

• Experience specifically with SAP Employee Central and/or Employee Central Payroll data conversion.

• Familiarity with legacy SAP HCM/Payroll infotypes and their mapping to the Employee Central object model.

• Experience leading mock conversion and cutover cycles in a federal or large enterprise SAP program.

• Knowledge of SAP data migration accelerators or Accenture's proprietary conversion tools/methodologies.

• PMP or equivalent project leadership experience managing teams of 3 or more analysts.
