SAP Consultant – FI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of the SAP FI module – General Ledger (GL).

• Collect requirements from business sectors and create functional specifications.

• Configure accounting workflows within SAP S/4HANA.

• Assist in developing the accounting equivalence engine for automated posting generation.

• Define and assess accounting rules and financial integrations.

• Validate integration processes via the Journal Entry API (OData/SOAP).

• Support Cash Management initiatives, bank reconciliation, and integration with financial institutions.

• Specify development requirements for the ABAP team utilizing BAPIs, BAdIs, and standard SAP APIs.

• Engage in unit, integrated, UAT, and Go-Live testing.

• Aid in the creation of analytical models using CDS Views and Fiori applications.

• Ensure compliance with SAP S/4HANA best practices and the Clean Core approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP FI Consultant.

• In-depth understanding of General Ledger (GL).

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience in configuring the FI GL module.

• Knowledge of:

• Chart of Accounts

• Profit Centers

• Cost Centers

• Ledger and Parallel Ledger

• Period-end Closing

• Document Splitting

• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)

• Expertise in integrations between FI and:

• CO, MM, SD, AA, and Treasury

• Experience in preparing functional specifications for ABAP development.

• Background in functional testing, sign-off (homologation), and Go-Live support.

• Knowledge of SAP standard APIs for journal entries.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or enhancement projects.
