SAP Business Object BO Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Upgrade a SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.3 sandbox environment to a higher Support Pack, encompassing all essential pre-checks, execution, and post-upgrade validation.

• Maintain service continuity through thorough testing, risk mitigation, and controlled delivery processes.

• Generate comprehensive installation, configuration, and upgrade documentation.

• Develop training materials for end-users that cover both standard features and newly introduced functionalities.

• Set up and validate Single Sign-On (SSO) and Azure Active Directory integrations.

• Configure and validate the integration of Microsoft OneDrive with SAP BO.

• Collaborate with and validate features such as Workflow Assistant.

• Conduct a seamless handover to internal SAP BO Administrators, ensuring their independence following project completion.

• Maintain effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in executing upgrades for the SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x platform within enterprise environments.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP BO architecture.

• Practical experience in configuring and validating SSO and Azure Active Directory integration.

• Familiarity with configuring and validating Microsoft OneDrive integration with SAP BO.

• Background in working with Workflow Assistant.

• Proven ability to create high-quality technical documentation, including upgrade plans, test scripts, training materials, and handover guides.

• Competence to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within established timelines.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.
