SAP BTP Work Zone Advanced Edition – SAP Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) tasked with the functional design, configuration, production support, and ongoing improvement of SAP EPPM capabilities.

• Collect and document business requirements from business stakeholders.

• Create Functional Design Documents (FDD), Business Process Procedures (BPPs), and a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

• Configure and test enhancements related to WBS structures, Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, and Funding Management.

• Provide support for Portfolio Management, Resource Management, and Project Financials functionalities.

• Work in collaboration with RAP/CAP/UI5 technical teams on BTP-based custom development.

• Assist with Capital Funding workflows, approval processes, and budgetary controls.

• Oversee PS–FI integration for cost settlement, asset capitalization, and WBS-based financial reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert knowledge in SAP PS (Project System) — WBS, Networks, Milestones.

• Advanced expertise in SAP PPM (Portfolio & Project Management).

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SAP CPM (Commercial Project Management).

• Expert understanding of PS–FI/CO Integration (Cost Settlement, Asset Capitalization).

• Advanced knowledge of Capital Funding and Approval Workflows.

• Advanced skills in SAP S/4HANA EPPM (Private Edition or Cloud).

• Expert capability in Functional Design Documentation (FDD, BPP, RTM).

• Expert in requirements gathering and conducting fit-to-standard workshops.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP (BAS, Integration Suite, Workflow).

• Exposure to UI5 / Fiori for applications related to EPPM.

• Understanding of SAP DMS / ECM document management.

• Strong preference for candidates with a background in the Energy, Utilities, or Capital Projects industries.

• Experience in Data Center or Infrastructure project management is a plus.
