SAP BASIS Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain WBSCM SAP NetWeaver ABAP/JAVA systems.

• Monitor system performance, execute load balancing, and optimize resources for database and application servers.

• Oversee the transport management system (TMS) across Development, Quality Assurance, and Production landscapes.

• Conduct backups, restores, and monitor databases using SAP HANA and SQL Server.

• Serve as the technical lead in troubleshooting system errors, dumps, and connectivity challenges related to SAP GUI and networks.

• Ensure SAP systems are supported for high availability, performance, and security.

• Manage user administration and database operations.

• Diagnose issues in SAP HANA, ECC, and NetWeaver environments within a 24/7 operational framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, specifically with SAP HANA and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio is essential.

• Experience with Solution Manager Configuration (ChaRM, System Monitoring, Document Management).

• Proficient knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows server environments.

• Familiarity with AWS is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capable of performing under pressure in a 24/7 setting.

• Selective Service System registration or waiver is required for any male born after 12/31/1959 as a condition of employment.

• Desired knowledge includes SAP BTP services and landscape design.

• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA (Cloud or On-Premise) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with DevOps principles and API management is desired.

• Experience with BOBJ configuration and administration is a plus.

• SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA certification is preferred.

• SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration certification is also desired.
