SAP ABAP Architect — AI & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical authority in SAP ABAP for AI and automation projects.

• Identify potential automation opportunities within SAP initiatives.

• Create accelerators, reusable components, and frameworks.

• Facilitate automations for documentation, testing, technical analysis, and code generation.

• Leverage AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to enhance developer productivity.

• Establish best practices for integrating AI into SAP development.

• Guide and mentor ABAP developers in the implementation of automation.

• Evaluate productivity improvements and the effectiveness of deployed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Architect, Specialist, or Senior SAP ABAP Developer.

• Proficiency in both classic ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.

• Understanding of CDS Views, OData, APIs, Fiori/UI5, or RAP.

• Experience with Enhancements, Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, RFCs, ALV, Jobs, Debugging, and Performance Tuning.

• Capability to design scalable and reusable technical solutions.

• Experience in process automation and the integration of AI within development workflows.

• Proficient or fluent in English or Spanish for collaboration in an international setting.

• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools (preferred).

• Background in AMS, SAP support, or continuous improvement projects (preferred).

• Experience in creating frameworks, technical accelerators, and automations (preferred).

• Knowledge of architectural and governance practices related to SAP development (preferred).
