This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

đź“‹ Description

• Execute comprehensive investigations into alerts related to sanctions, CTF suspicions, and high-risk activities highlighted through transaction monitoring or referrals.

• Conduct blockchain tracing and on-chain analysis to trace fund movements, identify wallet ownership, and establish connections to sanctioned entities or terrorist financing networks.

• Examine cases pertaining to OFAC, UN, EU, and other international sanctions lists while applying relevant jurisdictional expertise.

• Create clear, precise, and well-supported investigation reports, including SAR/STR filings when necessary.

• Oversee an assigned caseload within established SLAs, effectively prioritizing tasks and maintaining accurate case documentation.

• Perform open-source intelligence research (OSINT) to enhance investigations and uncover links to sanctioned individuals, terrorist groups, or illegal networks.

• Assist in client off-boarding procedures for cases with confirmed or suspected sanctions exposure.

• Ensure all investigative activities comply with Binance's Global Sanctions Policy and CTF compliance frameworks.

• Identify any process deficiencies or control weaknesses observed during investigations and escalate suggestions for enhancements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sanctions investigations, CTF investigations, or financial crime investigations within a crypto or financial services setting.

• Practical experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of global sanctions frameworks (OFAC, UN, EU, UK) and CTF regulatory obligations.

• Demonstrated ability to perform complex, multi-source investigations and generate clear, defensible written outputs, including SARs/STRs.

• Familiarity with sanctions screening platforms (e.g., World-Check, ComplyAdvantage, Actimize) is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Exceptional analytical and investigative skills—capable of linking disparate data points and drawing well-reasoned conclusions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills—investigation reports must be ready for audits and regulators.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities.
