Sample Collector, Phlebotomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Attending pre-scheduled appointments at various locations, typically within a 2-hour radius of your residence.

• Deliver a professional service for hair, nail, blood, and DNA sample collection.

• Foster and enhance strong relationships with clients and donors, acting as the public representative of Lextox.

• Execute the requirements of the company's Quality Management System and assist in maintaining ISO17025 accreditation.

• Ensure that all collections are performed safely according to the prescribed operating procedures.

• Provide statements to support legal proceedings at the time of sample collection.

• Complete all mandatory training required by the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

• A valid UK Driving Licence and must have personal access to a vehicle with business insurance.

• At least 2 years of experience in Phlebotomy, post-qualification (proof of Phlebotomy competency may be required).

• This position is subject to regular enhanced DBS checks.

• Experience working within the NHS/Blood Service is desirable.

• Experience in collecting hair and DNA samples (in-house training will be provided for this aspect of the role).
