This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Leading the design of solutions and making pivotal architectural decisions
• Establishing development standards, best practices, and platform guidelines
• Remaining actively involved in complex builds, Apex, LWC, and integrations as necessary
• Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery stakeholders to ensure that platform solutions accurately reflect business operations
• Minimizing rework, technical debt, and system friction
• Leading and nurturing a team of Salesforce and GTM systems specialists, overseeing team delivery, prioritization, and individual development
• Facilitating sprint planning, backlog management, and capacity planning to ensure the team meets both strategic initiatives and daily platform support needs
• Serving as the main technical point of contact for senior leadership, translating intricate architectural decisions into straightforward business language
• Overseeing the Salesforce architecture within our GTM tech stack, defining solution designs, integration patterns, and platform standards that promote scalability and long-term maintainability
• Steering architectural decision-making and providing hands-on support to the team throughout the delivery process—reviewing builds, identifying issues early, and iterating solutions as necessary
• Ensuring systems function as a connected ecosystem across Salesforce and the wider GTM toolset
• Staying updated with the Salesforce roadmap and practically integrating new capabilities into the platform strategy
• Designing and implementing a deployment process and CI/CD pipeline, establishing version control, release management, and testing standards across the team
• Managing end-to-end delivery throughout the full SDLC—from requirements and solution design to build, testing (unit, integration, UAT), release, and post-deployment support
• Building and maintaining integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms such as n8n and Zapier
• Establishing standards for data structure, quality, and consistency, along with monitoring and failure recovery processes across integrated systems
• Managing the Salesforce security model (access, permissions, sharing)
• Ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements (GDPR, data handling)
• Defining practical governance concerning data, audits, and retention
• Collaborating with IT and leadership on broader security posture and risk management
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a senior Salesforce delivery role, with a history of managing complex, end-to-end implementations
• Strong commercial acumen—understands how systems facilitate revenue generation
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and client-facing teams
• Able to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, with the credibility to gain trust from both technical teams and senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams—setting direction, managing delivery, and fostering employee development
• Inquisitive and forward-thinking, with an emphasis on automation, AI, and scalability
• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce and GTM systems architecture
• Salesforce Architect certification (Application/System Architect preferred)
• Extensive technical knowledge across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and the Salesforce security and sharing model
• Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using tools such as Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce DX
• Experience in designing API-led integrations between Salesforce and downstream systems utilizing modern integration patterns and middleware tools
• Strong understanding of security, compliance (GDPR), and governance
• Background in consulting, high-growth B2B, or dynamic commercial environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms, data storage, or data warehousing
• Experience with vendor evaluation, platform strategy, or system migrations
