Salesforce Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions that align with business needs.

• Independently oversee multiple solution initiatives alongside Project Management to ensure all stakeholders are updated on progress and that deadlines are met.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend business processes, identify desired enhancements, and translate them into efficient technical solutions.

• Perform technical analysis to deliver optimal design solutions utilizing out-of-the-box (OOB) capabilities as necessary.

• Design and refine data models to meet business requirements effectively.

• Conduct design reviews with stakeholders, clarifying requirements and ensuring that desired outcomes align with technical implementation.

• Appropriately segment user stories into actionable work items that fit within an agile development framework, enabling developers and/or admins to work within a scrum/sprint model.

• Support development efforts by addressing inquiries, providing demonstrations, and assisting QA team members in grasping the overall solution strategy to achieve business acceptance.

• Aid in maintaining comprehensive documentation of solution designs, adhering to established team standards.

• Possess the technical capability to develop Salesforce configurations such as flows and security settings for proof-of-concept projects.

• Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager, in line with the scope and seniority of the position.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of combined experience as a Salesforce Consultant and/or Administrator, showcasing proven hands-on configuration abilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and/or Revenue Cloud.

• Solid understanding of data architecture.

• Familiarity with middleware solutions such as Boomi and Workato, and knowledge of how data synchronization occurs between systems.

• Experience in communicating with IT stakeholders, crafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed system/functional designs.

• Strong leadership abilities complemented by effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills to clearly present and articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
