Salesforce Functional Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and oversee the comprehensive functional architecture for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid billing models within Salesforce.

• Design high-volume data integrations linking Salesforce Billing with downstream enterprise ERP, revenue recognition, tax, and payment platforms.

• Convert business requirement epics into functional specifications, user stories, and technical blueprints in an agile setting.

• Work collaboratively with global finance, revenue operations, and engineering stakeholders across various time zones.

• Diagnose and enhance invoice generation, proration logic, and system synchronization processes.

• Ensure billing outputs align with financial controls while maximizing operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• In-depth functional expertise in Salesforce Billing.

• Demonstrated experience in designing complex integrations between billing applications and downstream ERP or financial systems.

• Thorough understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle, subscription management, and financial reconciliation.

• Experience working with globally distributed teams.

• Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Bonus: experience in integrating Salesforce Billing with SAP or Oracle.

• Bonus: familiarity with revenue recognition platforms, tax engines, and payment gateways.

• Bonus: experience in high-volume, enterprise-scale monetization and billing environments.
