Salesforce Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, performance, and scalability of the Salesforce Platform and Node.js-based services.

• Ensure that architectural choices align with Salesforce and cloud engineering best practices.

• Take ownership of the technical direction for Salesforce applications.

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver high-quality solutions swiftly.

• Manage a development team comprising 10 to 15 engineers.

• Establish goals and conduct one-on-one meetings.

• Foster career growth for engineers and recruit engineering talent.

• Eliminate obstacles hindering progress.

• Balance the delivery of the roadmap with engineering excellence, which includes code quality, system reliability, platform performance, security, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles for engineering teams.

• Extensive Salesforce knowledge, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.

• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce technical architecture, specifically in designing scalable enterprise solutions.

• Strong background in Node.js along with a clear perspective on creating maintainable services and integrations at scale.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems through modern APIs and integration patterns.

• Profound understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

• Proven history of enhancing engineering velocity, system performance, scalability, and deployment processes within production settings.

• Demonstrated ability to nurture engineers, make effective hiring decisions, and lead high-performing engineering teams that consistently achieve results.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation of deployment processes.

• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, or containerization technologies.

• Possession of Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect, or System Architect.

• Background in scaling SaaS platforms or products aimed at developers.
