Salesforce Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belarus.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, performance, and scalability of services built on Salesforce Platform and Node.js.

• Ensure that architectural choices adhere to best practices in Salesforce and cloud engineering.

• Take ownership of the technical direction for Salesforce applications.

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

• Manage a team consisting of 10 to 15 developers.

• Establish objectives and conduct one-on-one meetings.

• Foster career development and recruit top engineering talent.

• Eliminate obstacles that hinder progress.

• Balance the delivery of the roadmap with engineering excellence, focusing on code quality, system reliability, platform performance, security, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in software engineering, including at least 3 years in a leadership role for engineering teams.

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.

• Demonstrated experience in designing scalable enterprise solutions through Salesforce technical architecture.

• Strong background in Node.js with a well-defined perspective on developing maintainable services and integrations at scale.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using modern APIs and integration techniques.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

• Proven track record of enhancing engineering velocity, system performance, scalability, and deployment procedures in production settings.

• Ability to nurture engineers, make effective hiring decisions, and lead high-performing engineering teams that consistently achieve results.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation of deployment processes.

• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or containerization technologies.

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect, or System Architect are preferred.

• Experience in scaling SaaS platforms or products aimed at developers.
