This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Design, develop, test, and implement tailored Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Create and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and custom APIs.
• Develop and oversee flows, process builders, and declarative automation tools.
• Architect and execute data models, sharing rules, and security frameworks in accordance with enterprise standards.
• Lead integrations between Salesforce and external systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or middleware platforms.
• Enhance platform performance, perform code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices.
• Multi-Cloud Expertise.
• Sales Cloud: Configure and improve opportunity management, forecasting, territory management, and tools for dealer/partner relationships.
• Service Cloud: Develop and maintain case management, omni-channel routing, knowledge base, and field service functionalities.
• Data Cloud (CDP): Create unified customer data profiles, data streams, identity resolution rules, and activation pipelines.
• Marketing Cloud: Design and implement customer journeys, automation workflows, Email Studio configurations, and AMPscript/SSJS solutions.
• Technical Program Management (Preferred).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to transform roadmap priorities into actionable engineering plans.
• Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery schedules using Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies early; facilitate resolution with minimal impact on delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution design documents, and runbooks.
• Act as a technical intermediary between business teams and engineering, ensuring clear communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR a combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of practical Salesforce development experience.
• Proficiency in languages: Apex, SOQL, LWC, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with tools: Salesforce DX, Git, VS Code, Jira, Confluence.
• Proven experience across 2 or more Salesforce clouds.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, sandboxes, change sets, and deployment best practices.
