This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Drive functional alignment between the USSF baseline metadata package and the operational processes of the customer.
• Assess data architecture, object models, user security matrix, and portal access structures within the designated RCO environment.
• Support Solution Consultants and Developers in the configuration of both declarative and programmatic components.
• Oversee comprehensive Salesforce implementations across Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Nonprofit Cloud.
• Provide both technical and functional leadership to interdisciplinary project teams.
• Coach junior consultants and aid in the development of internal best practices, accelerators, and solution frameworks.
• Design and execute automation through Flow, Approval Processes, Einstein features, and other declarative tools.
• Enhance business processes to minimize manual tasks and boost operational efficiency.
• Ensure that automation is scalable, maintainable, and adheres to governance and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate designs through prototypes and iterative feedback loops.
• Lead discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
• Gather business, functional, and technical requirements and convert them into solution designs, user stories, and implementation roadmaps.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and optimization prospects.
• Create scalable data and security models along with automation frameworks that comply with federal regulations.
• Configure and customize Salesforce utilizing declarative tools and best-practice architectural patterns.
• Undertake other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; this position is limited to U.S. Citizens.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
• TS/SCI Polygraph is highly preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in Salesforce architecture/consulting with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• At least 7 years of overall professional experience is required.
• Experience in DoD/Federal Salesforce environments (IL4/IL5 GovCloud) is essential.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, and one or more Consultant-level certifications are required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
• Strong skills in business analysis, including client discovery, requirements definition, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Advanced expertise in Salesforce automation, particularly with Flow.
• Experience in designing production-quality UI in Lightning and Experience Cloud.
• Proven track record in delivering complex Salesforce programs involving multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with integrations and APIs is required.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies is important.
• A minimum of 4 years in building Salesforce business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for production systems.
• Additional certifications are preferred: Advanced Administrator, Marketing Cloud, OmniStudio, and PSS.
• Certification as a Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect is highly preferred.
