Salesforce Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with IRS stakeholders to determine how Agentforce can automate or enhance essential business processes.

• Convert those requirements into detailed user stories, agent instructions, and process models, ensuring AI functionality is secure, grounded, and aligned with policy.

• Take a pivotal role in AI governance, validation, and change management as federal personnel begin utilizing autonomous digital assistants.

• Conduct structured discovery workshops with IRS stakeholders to identify and rank processes that are suitable for automation via Agentforce.

• Document comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agent Instructions (prompts) to guarantee that AI behavior complies with IRS policies and regulations.

• Create clear as-is and to-be process flows, emphasizing areas where AI agents can minimize manual effort or enhance data accuracy.

• Establish and uphold AI testing and governance standards, including grounding validation and involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ensure that agents function within security, compliance, and hallucination-prevention limits suitable for a federal context.

• Develop training materials and change documentation to assist IRS teams in effectively adopting and collaborating with autonomous digital assistants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) or Public Trust clearance is required.

• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst and Certified Agentforce Specialist certifications are mandatory.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, with at least 1 year dedicated to AI-driven solutions or automated workflows.

• Hands-on experience within the Agentforce framework, including defining Topics and Actions.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, particularly how data influences and constrains agent behavior.

• Practical expertise with Salesforce Flow, illustrating the actions performed by AI agents.

• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart for requirements management, traceability, and visualization.

• Outstanding communication skills, capable of elucidating AI concepts such as grounding, reasoning, and guardrails to federal leadership.
