This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Develop and enhance the sales funnel and opportunity pipeline for Aerospace Defense Solutions products within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement a strategic growth plan for the territory to increase market share and boost customer engagement.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Aerospace Defense Solutions utilizing a consultative sales approach.
• Collaborate with Global Sales and Marketing teams to promote ADS products across various customer applications and markets.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through direct customer interactions, partnerships with channel partners, and targeted marketing initiatives.
• Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through regular engagement and solution-focused discussions.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of customer, contact, and opportunity data within the CRM system.
• Comprehend customer applications, technical requirements, and business challenges to deliver customized solutions.
• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align requirements with product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting, bookings projections, and budgeting activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, account management, or territory management.
• Strong knowledge of value-based selling methodologies and customer negotiation tactics.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a global, cross-functional organization.
• Familiarity with applications and technologies relevant to the Aerospace, Defense, and Space sectors.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
• Experience within the aerospace, defense, or space industries.
• Technical sales experience with engineered products or complex solutions.
• Proficiency in developing compelling value propositions and customer-centric technical solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense procurement processes, customer requirements, and market trends.
• Experience utilizing CRM tools and sales analytics to foster business growth.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, or eligibility to obtain export authorization under ITAR and/or EAR.
