Sales Specialist – Patient Support Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up with prospective patients who have shown interest in Shapely.

• Provide information to leads regarding our program, our physician-led approach, and the workings of GLP-1/GIP weight loss medications.

• Clarify the basics of insurance eligibility and general coverage to establish realistic expectations.

• Assist interested leads in the enrollment process and arrange their initial appointment.

• Oversee your lead pipeline in the CRM, monitoring follow-ups and conversion progress.

• Achieve or surpass goals for outbound calls, conversions, and scheduled appointments.

• Reconnect with warm leads who have not yet enrolled to address any outstanding questions and facilitate their progression.

• Collaborate with our Prior Authorization and Concierge teams to ensure a seamless transition once a patient enrolls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in English — both spoken and written.

• Demonstrated experience in sales, telesales, or outbound calling, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding conversion goals.

• A persuasive and consultative communication style that fosters trust quickly over the phone.

• Comfortable providing explanations regarding insurance eligibility and medication coverage basics to set accurate expectations.

• Resilient and self-driven when managing a high-volume outbound pipeline.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a friendly, empathetic, and customer-first attitude.

• A dependable remote work setup: stable high-speed internet and a quiet, private space for calls.

• Previous experience in a healthcare or telehealth setting, or a comparable patient-facing role. (Nice to Have)

• Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and patient privacy (training also provided). (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with Zoom Phone, CRM platforms, or EHR systems (training also provided). (Nice to Have)
