Sales Specialist – Mass Spectrometry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Market Agilent mass spectrometry solutions that are integrated with both Agilent and third-party automation hardware and software platforms.

• Assist clients in developing connected, efficient, and scalable laboratory workflows.

• Identify chances to enhance laboratory throughput, automation, efficiency, and facilitate digital transformation.

• Promote Agilent solutions through consultative sales conversations that emphasize productivity, efficiency, and return on investment.

• Collaborate with sales teams to formulate account strategies, build pipelines, and implement growth plans.

• Engage with customer stakeholders to comprehend laboratory challenges, business goals, and workflow necessities.

• Empower and assist sales teams in positioning, qualifying, and selling laboratory productivity solutions.

• Encourage cross-functional collaboration among instrumentation, software, automation, consumables, and services teams.

• Represent Agilent at customer meetings, industry conferences, seminars, and marketing events.

• Identify, assess, and position third-party technologies that enhance Agilent’s offerings.

• Collect customer and market intelligence to guide product strategy, competitive positioning, and future growth initiatives.

• Travel within North America approximately 35% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific field.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience with analytical workflows, automation solutions, LC, LC/MS, or productivity-driven operations.

• Capability to convert intricate technical concepts into practical, client-focused solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Willingness to travel within North America.

• Experience in supporting or implementing automated laboratory workflows in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical laboratories is preferred.

• Familiarity with laboratory automation platforms and digital laboratory solutions is preferred.

• Previous experience in technical customer-facing roles, business development, or product management is preferred.
