This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Evaluate customer accounts and analyze operational, logistics, quality, and procurement requirements to uncover and define commercial opportunities.
• Oversee all phases of the sales process, from initial discovery to closing, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Create, manage, and implement a sales strategy within the Food & C&I market in Mexico, aligned with designated revenue goals.
• Showcase and explain Sensitech solutions to current and potential clients, effectively communicating value propositions and business results.
• Deepen existing account relationships and maximize their potential through effective cross-selling and upselling techniques.
• Identify and pursue new major accounts within assigned regions and sectors.
• Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline utilizing Salesforce (SFDC).
• Provide timely, precise rolling revenue forecasts (90-day, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Client Services, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting and customer fulfillment.
• Compile weekly activity reports, trip summaries, and operational reports, including revenue and forecast updates.
• Generate a 12-month revenue forecast by product type as requested by management.
• Travel extensively within Mexico to engage with customers and cultivate relationships (approximately 50% travel).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in full-cycle, quota-carrying sales positions.
• Proficient in English (both verbal and written).
• Solid background in direct sales, showcasing strong skills in hunting and business development.
• Experience in selling solutions related to cold chain, logistics, the food industry, or industrial markets.
• Strong familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel extensively and possess a valid driver’s license; passport and U.S. visa are preferred.
• Experience in cold chain monitoring solutions or temperature-controlled logistics (preferred but not required).
• Background in managing national or regional customer portfolios (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with technology-driven or data-centric sales solutions (preferred but not required).
