This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• The FCS Sales Engineer's role is to increase market share profitably within their designated territory for the FCS product line across various business segments.
• Conduct in-person visits with both current and potential customers to showcase STAUBLI FCS Solutions.
• Perform daily face-to-face visits in line with sales KPIs established by the manager.
• Achieve or exceed the sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain spare parts and products to existing and prospective clients.
• Comprehend the technical requirements of customers and offer appropriate solutions.
• Onboard new customers in the CRM system.
• Prepare a weekly agenda in advance, at least one week ahead, on the CRM.
• Timely report visits into the CRM according to Staubli guidelines.
• Gather and complete all documentation necessary to set up a customer in the system.
• Participate in weekly sales follow-up calls.
• Leverage the CRM system for managing information, tracking, and generating reports.
• Follow up diligently on quotations and opportunities.
• Provide accurate information to the Engineering department to facilitate the development of specialized products.
• Maintain respectful and effective communication with other departments (Inside Sales, Logistics, and Finance).
• Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely manner each week.
• Actively participate in trade shows, open house events, and the annual National Sales Meeting in Duncan, SC.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent work experience is required (engineering or technical background is preferred).
• Technical knowledge and experience in Field Sales.
• Ability to manage and follow up on projects.
• Experience with cold calling.
• High-level skill set.
• Proven experience in developing new territories with new accounts and contacts.
• Regional sales experience in the NorthEast (Monterrey, Saltillo, Torreon).
• A team player who is willing to assist as needed.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address customer issues.
• Excellent listening skills, curiosity, comprehension, self-motivation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• 70% - 80% travel (3 to 4 days per week) for visiting prospective and existing customers.
• 1 to 2 office days per week dedicated to administrative tasks.
