This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Organize, design, and facilitate quarterly business reviews.
• Develop medium to long-term sales strategies to safeguard, expand, and diversify relationships with a designated group of clients.
• Create and execute a strategic roadmap for customer growth, concentrating on securing new business awards and establishing customer dependencies.
• Actively seek out additional sales opportunities and drive them to successful completion.
• Connect with customer representatives to initiate the contract renewal process, ensuring timely renewals.
• Track competitive activities within each account and develop suitable response strategies to communicate effectively.
• Independently and proactively resolve issues to guarantee high-quality customer service.
• Maintain customer profitability by preserving or enhancing customer margins through coordinated efforts with Sales Operations and other departments (such as obtaining customer approvals on substitutes/alternatives and implementing necessary price increases).
• Keep accurate records of sales pipelines, prospects, customer details, and communication logs within the CRM system.
• Assist in managing all aspects of contractual obligations, including but not limited to excess & obsolete inventory, value-added/value-engineered initiatives, cost savings documentation, pricing/material index reviews, inventory reductions, and expense minimization.
• Build and maintain relationships with mid-level clients (e.g., Purchasing Managers) while nurturing relationships with senior clients (e.g., Purchasing Directors, C-Suite executives).
• Support customer implementations and ongoing improvement efforts.
• Carry out all other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably with related products or industries.
• Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience in project management and/or onboarding new customers is a plus.
• High standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Preferred working style: teamwork, collaboration, and humility.
• Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and formulate innovative, business-focused solutions.
• Self-starter with a drive for motivation and the capability to manage and organize one’s own schedule.
• Proficient in interpreting various forms of instructions provided in written, oral, blueprint, or scheduling formats.
• Strong listening and interpersonal abilities, along with excellent negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of delivering presentations effectively to groups of customers and employees; possesses refined persuasion and related sales skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well in a high-pressure setting.
• Comfortable and efficient in data analysis, including graphs, statistics, percentages, and ratios.
• Willingness to travel, estimated up to 60%.
