This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Meet or surpass quarterly and annual sales goals for the designated territory.
• Oversee both external and internal stakeholders effectively.
• Generate and manage sales in alignment with assigned targets.
• Identify emerging business opportunities and collect competitive market insights.
• Achieve annual sales revenue and market share objectives for the specified territory.
• Manage budgets for the territory efficiently.
• Ensure consistent marketing messages are delivered to assigned customers.
• Implement the territory business strategy, which includes CME and Group Sell Activities.
• Complete expense reports, training, compliance documentation, physician list updates, and speaker compensation requirements.
• Log daily call activities using Veeva CRM.
• Build relationships with physicians, gatekeepers, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and nutritionists.
• Cultivate speakers and Key Opinion Leaders and collaborate with teaching hospitals and medical students.
• Identify and report adverse events and product quality issues following company protocols.
• Fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing both French and English is essential for positions in Quebec.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required.
• Relevant experience and/or education may be taken into account.
• Completion of a basic CCPE course is mandatory.
• Previous experience in specialty or hospital sales is advantageous.
• Prior experience in GP sales is beneficial.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry along with government regulations, restrictions, and formulary policies is required.
• Experience in managing a large geographical territory, along with planning and maintaining a call cycle, is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent sales experience is preferred.
• Sales experience in cardiovascular, CNS, and immunology sectors is preferred.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation, time management, organizational, and analytical skills are necessary.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce.com, and Veeva is essential.
• Familiarity with videoconferencing and virtual technologies such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams is advantageous.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
• Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
• Business travel will be required based on customer locations and the size of the territory.
