Sales Professional – Electrical Markets, Construction & Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Driving profitable sales for the C&I business within the designated territory.

• Developing, implementing, and executing effective business plans for the territory.

• Prioritizing end customers, markets, and distributors to enhance effective territory management.

• Executing promotions and directives as established by division management.

• Collaborating with other C&I territories and various divisions within 3M EMD to fulfill customer requirements.

• Operating a company vehicle, which will necessitate a pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this role.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified before starting) AND three (3) years of direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government, or military setting.

• OR an associate's degree (completed and verified before starting) and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience in a private, public, government, or military setting.

• A current, valid driver’s license.

• Sales experience in the Electric C&I Market.

• Strong skills in negotiation and relationship building.

• Capability to understand and train customers on various product lines and applications.

• Experience in field/channel sales.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to all levels.

• Ability to assess and prioritize sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

• Experience working in a matrix environment or within a large, complex organization.

• Strong computer proficiency, including database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com.

• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

• A strong team player with the ability to work effectively alongside peers.
