• Utilize Salesforce.com to create quotes, monitor opportunities, and manage order processing.
• Quickly address inquiries from both internal and external sources.
• Propose innovative pricing and payment solutions that align customer needs with pricing policies.
• Act as a bridge between customers, vendors, and GuidePoint outside Sales Executives.
• Cultivate and maintain expertise in product and industry knowledge, vendor resources, and GuidePoint Security service offerings.
• Build and sustain relationships with key vendors and customers at GuidePoint.
• Participate in regional forecast calls and conduct pipeline analysis to ensure accuracy in forecasting.
• Utilize resources and relationships to enhance value for customers.
• Serve as a liaison among GuidePoint outside Account Executives, Accounting, and Contracts Departments to facilitate order processing and tracking.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze data and make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
• Exhibit the capability to juggle multiple tasks with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Work closely with other GuidePoint teams to streamline processes and information while ensuring customer deliverables.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service/sales support role; experience in the IT industry is preferred.
• Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required, with a preference for Salesforce.com.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet navigation is necessary.
• Experience in technical sales/support and outbound calling is preferred.
• Self-driven with strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to follow-through are essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• A consistently positive attitude, a strong results-oriented drive, and the ability to navigate ambiguity are crucial.
• Proficient math skills, including the ability to calculate margins/discounts and percentages, are required.
• Must be receptive to constructive feedback and willing to apply it for personal improvement.
• Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing information to make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules is required.
• Primarily remote workforce (U.S. based only; some travel may be necessary for certain roles, and on-site work may be required for Federal positions).
