Sales Manager – South-East Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of localized markets and drive business growth for ESS solutions in South-East Europe.

• Manage the entire sales process from identifying opportunities to negotiating contracts, securing signatures, and collecting payments.

• Cultivate and oversee relationships with key clients, including developers, EPCs, IPPs, utilities, and industrial customers.

• Work closely with PV Sales teams to sustain customer relationships, broaden sales channels, and facilitate cross-selling of integrated PV + ESS solutions.

• Discover upselling opportunities such as system expansions, EMS upgrades, and additional services.

• Establish and uphold a robust regional sales network and pipeline to meet annual sales objectives.

• Enhance localized brand visibility by participating in regional trade shows, industry exhibitions, and forums.

• Organize customer factory visits, technical seminars, and solution presentations in collaboration with Technical and HQ teams.

• Keep track of market trends, policies, and subsidy programs related to utility energy storage in Italy and the Balkan region.

• Collaborate with HQ and international teams on product promotion, technical alignment, and strategic initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related discipline.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in the sales of ESS, PCS, EMS, or similar energy storage solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage ESS projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.

• Strong comprehension of ESS architecture (battery cells, BMS, PCS, EMS) and the capability to interpret technical specifications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of international trade practices, including INCOTERMS 2020, L/Cs, performance bonds, and export credit insurance.

• English proficiency at C1 level (professional working ability); proficiency in another European language is advantageous.
