This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Accountable for meeting and surpassing established sales targets through effective key account management.
• Identify, cultivate, and expand new market share and sales opportunities within government, corporate, and academic sectors.
• Recognize and resolve issues and risks to ensure the achievement of sales budgets and targets.
• Collaborate with Internal Sales Support and Executive Management to strategically map and manage customer relationships.
• Provide precise sales forecasts and reports utilizing the CRM system in accordance with provided guidelines.
• Follow up to ensure the completion of all post-sales activities, including order receipt from customers, invoicing, payment follow-up, and license management.
• Prepare project proposals and concept notes tailored for government and corporate clients.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Knimbus products.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of demonstrated and relevant sales experience in Institutional Sales (B2B, exclusively in Higher Education, excluding K-12).
• Preferred background in Publishing, e-books/e-journals, rather than print sales.
• An Engineering degree is preferred; an MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
• Candidates must be local with proficiency in spoken Tamil.
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
• Possess an analytical mindset and strong negotiation abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; effective listener, engaging presenter, and personable.
• Goal-oriented, organized, and a collaborative team player.
