This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development of the market and acquisition of new customers.

• Systematic identification and targeting of customers within the medical technology sector, including hospitals, hospital groups, medtech manufacturers, leasing companies, and public-sector providers.

• Build a dependable customer network in the German market independently, from initial outreach to final contract signing.

• Collaborate closely with Surplex’s experienced UK team for coordinated market development, which has already achieved success in this region.

• Manage relationships and provide consulting services.

• Establish long-term partnerships with decision-makers at executive and procurement levels.

• Advise clients on optimal remarketing and disposal strategies for medical devices, systems, and equipment.

• Represent Surplex at industry events, trade shows, and within medical-technology networks.

• Create a sustainable go-to-market strategy for the German medtech sector.

• Conduct continuous market monitoring, competitive analysis, and identify new customer segments.

• Report to Sales Management and actively contribute to shaping the international growth strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally with direct relevance to medical technology, healthcare, or the trading/leasing of medical equipment.

• Established network of contacts with decision-makers in hospitals, hospital groups, medtech manufacturers, or leasing/financing segments for medical capital goods.

• Proven success in independently acquiring new customers and developing new business lines, including starting from the ground up.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently create structures in a new market without relying on predefined processes.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at the senior decision-maker level.

• Proficient in German; English skills required for collaboration with the UK team.
